Who is Wesley?
I see myself as down-to-earth, easy-going and just your regular 19-year-old boy. I spend loads of time with friends and family and I love meeting new people. It’s not always fun and games though, because I’m studying medicine… So yes, I’m a bit of a nerd too. I’m proudly South African.

If you weren’t a model what would you be?
If I wasn’t a model, I would just be a student with more time on my hands.
Did becoming a model change your life in any way?
It really has! I am much more confident than I was before and it has opened so many doors for me. I’ve met so many great and interesting people and experienced things that would have never been possible without it.
Best modelling advice?
Never take yourself too seriously and learn how to jump outside of your comfort zone.
Personal passion or hidden talents?
I am really passionate about travelling, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to do much of it yet.
What do you like most about South Africa and which places would you recommend to the tourists coming to visit your country?
I love the diversity of the people and culture. We have the best views and coolest animals. I would recommend Cape Town and if you want to see the wildlife; the Kruger National Park.
What do you enjoy most in life?
My favourite thing in life is spending my down time with friends and family with some good background music.
How would you describe your style?
I usually dress street style, minimalistic with neutral colours. I’m also obsessed with shoes.
Dream modelling job?
My dream modelling job would definitely be a high end fashion brand campaign.
Any weird habits?
I fix my hair a little too much.
Favourite movie?
Anchorman.
Famous person you would like to meet?
Elon Musk – He is a South African making a huge difference in the world.
A quote that sums you up?
“If it isn’t a little scary, it probably isn’t worth your time.’’- Ted Murphy
