Kith has created a new NBA Hardwood Classics collection that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the 2001 NBA All-Star Game. The release coincides with NBA All-Star 2026 taking place in Los Angeles and draws inspiration from one of basketball’s most memorable All-Star events.

SPORTSWEAR

The 2001 All-Star Game earned its reputation through exceptional play and star-studded rosters filled with future Hall of Famers competing at their peak. The format differed from typical All-Star games because participants wore their own team uniforms rather than generic East and West jerseys. This distinctive visual element became the foundation for Kith’s design approach.

Kith selected 15 teams from that 2001 game to represent in the collection. This number carries dual significance: it references the participating teams and commemorates Kith’s own 15-year history. Each team receives Hardwood Classics logo treatment applied to various products.

The range includes multiple categories. Premium satin bomber jackets display team embroidery. Mesh Leon Shirts and matching Mesh Shorts echo the 2001 uniforms. Vintage Tees showcase printed team graphics. Headwear comes from a collaboration with ’47.

AVIREX contributed to the outerwear pieces, including a leather bomber jacket that serves as a highlight item. This jacket features team logo patches covering the surface, NBA iconography on the reverse side, and Kith All-Star branding on the front.

Wilson designed a collectible basketball with painted team artwork and specialized packaging. Home goods include ceramic mugs, keychains, and a Los Angeles Lakers plush teddy bear. A printed tapestry blanket completes the home collection. Yellowpop created two LED neon signs representing the Lakers and Knicks.

Kith’s West Hollywood flagship will offer an early release on Thursday, February 12th. The full global launch happens Friday, February 13th at 11 AM. Customers can shop in-store, online, and through the Kith App. Release times follow New York, London, and Paris time zones.
