The season moves gradually from colder weather into full summer and from daytime dressing into evening. Clothes respond to outdoor life, days on the golf course, early departures, beach hours and warmer nights. Familiar menswear archetypes provide the foundation, including the camel blazer, balmacaan coat, trenchcoat and safari field jacket.
Materials follow the changing temperatures. Cashmere and tweed lead into lighter fabrics, while the palette progresses through neutrals, muted shades and sun-faded colors. Soft construction shapes the collection throughout, supporting an informal approach to tailoring and a wardrobe designed for movement between different settings.
Loro Piana pairs blazers with chinos and coats with jeans. A summer peacoat appears with wide trousers and braided raffia lace-ups. Bombers and field jackets enter more casual combinations, while trousers tucked into socks introduce a relaxed styling detail.
Layering provides flexibility across changing weather. Textures and colors build depth without adding unnecessary weight, and garments can move beyond their expected roles. Loro Piana presented Spring Summer 2027 during Milan Fashion Week at the Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense in Palazzo di Brera. The Maria Teresa room displayed original sketches, garments, bags and accessories across canvas panels, wooden library ladders and walnut cases. Grande Unita scarves appeared inside display cases, while the nearby Sala Lettura introduced areas dedicated to fabrics, tailoring, sunglasses and screen printing.
