“Layover,” an EP featuring six tracks, features unique musical style, blending jazz, lo-fi, and R&B. The album highlights V’s vocal talent. It’s departure from BTS’s typical sound and contemporary music trends was seen as a bold step.
But thats not all, multimedia company TidalWave Comics has announced the release of “FAME: BTS,” a comic book that chronicles the journey of the seven-member K-pop group. Written by Eric M. Esquivel and illustrated by manga artist Lucy Fidelis, the 22-page comic is part of TidalWave’s FAME series, which has featured other pop stars like Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé.
“FAME: BTS” aims to provide fans with an engaging narrative that traces the group’s transformation from musicians to soldiers in the South Korean military. Esquivel expressed his excitement about entertaining BTS’s fans, known as the ‘Army’, while the band serves in the military. Fidelis shared her delight in crafting a story that captures the essence of BTS’s journey.
The comic book will be available in both digital and print formats, including soft and hardcover editions featuring artwork by Paulo Teles Yonami and Alexandre Starling. Fans can now pre-order “FAME: BTS” on Amazon, with its release scheduled for January 10.
